Kyrylo Khadasevych is a 17-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper for Wolfsburg U19. He has already spent several years in the German club’s system, regularly plays for his age-group team, and has experience training with the first team. Khadasevych is also called up to Ukraine’s national team for his age category.
In a recent Youth Bundesliga match against Heidenheim U19, he helped his team secure a clean-sheet 2:0 victory. Khadasevych played the entire match in Brave GK Air gloves. This is a model that is well suited to matches of this level — with high speed, plenty of physical battles, and constant pressure on the goalkeeper.

For a young goalkeeper, it is important not just to be part of a strong team, but to get regular playing time. Things look quite good for Kyrylo Khadasevych in this respect: recently, the Ukrainian has made two starts.
In this article, you can see photos from the second of those matches — on March 15 against Heidenheim U19. Khadasevych spent all 90+ minutes on the pitch and kept a clean sheet. Wolfsburg U19 won that match 2:0. This is a good sign of steady trust from the team.
To keep a clean sheet in youth football, a goalkeeper needs to show several qualities at once. He must read the game calmly, come off his line at the right time, stay involved in every moment, and maintain concentration even during stretches when the opponent does not turn attacks into shots for a long time. Khadasevych has these qualities. He is already showing not only technique, but also maturity throughout the entire match.
It is also important to note which league Khadasevych plays in. Wolfsburg U19 compete in the Youth Bundesliga — the highest level of youth football in Germany. At the time of the match against Heidenheim, Khadasevych’s club was in first place in its group. For a goalkeeper, this is an excellent environment: high tempo, tough competition, and regular matches against well-prepared teams.

Kyrylo Khadasevych already has enough experience to have his own requirements for gloves. In general, these are the basics: the gloves should fit snugly on the hand, not restrict the wrist, and provide stable contact with the ball in every situation.
Brave GK Air goalkeeper gloves help maintain control thanks to a palm made of 4 mm Supreme Contact latex and 4 mm cushioning foam. This combination provides a confident grip and makes ball handling more secure. The Rollfinger cut increases the contact area, while the Fix Fit system helps keep the hand from shifting inside the glove.
Another important advantage of the model is its lightness and wrist freedom. Brave GK Air does not have rigid finger protection inserts, so the gloves do not restrict movement. This is important in a youth league match, where a goalkeeper needs to adapt quickly: come off the line, handle the ball after a shot, distribute it immediately, or sharply change body position. The breathable mesh on the backhand makes the model feel lighter and helps the goalkeeper work through a full match more comfortably.
The Brave GK Air model is well suited to youth and professional-level matches: a snug fit, stable contact with the ball, and natural freedom of movement without unnecessary heaviness.
Khadasevych is a Ukrainian and a graduate of the football academy in the city of Dnipro. After the start of the full-scale war, he moved abroad, went on trial at Wolfsburg, and eventually signed a full contract with the German club until June 2026. In an interview, he said that the trial lasted only two days, and the move itself became a major step forward for him.
The goalkeeper’s development at Wolfsburg is not limited to matches for the youth team. Khadasevych has already trained several times with the first team. According to him, Niko Kovač and goalkeeping coach Pascal Formann noted his dedication, work ethic, and potential. For a young Ukrainian goalkeeper building a career in German football, that is a strong signal.
