Vladyslav Krapyvtsov, a young and promising Ukrainian goalkeeper, has joined the ranks of Brave GK ambassadors. This year, he took a major step in his career by signing a contract with Girona until the summer of 2029.
Vladyslav has already proven himself as a confident and technically skilled goalkeeper in Ukrainian football. Now, Krapyvtsov dreams of making his La Liga debut and becoming a key member of his new team. In the summer of 2024, Vladyslav Krapyvtsov signed a contract with Girona, one of La Liga’s standout clubs. Born in Kharkiv, Vladyslav began his career at the SK Dnipro-1 academy. In the 2023/2024 season, he played 25 matches for the club’s youth team, showcasing reliability and composure.
Joining Girona was an important milestone for Krapyvtsov. He passed a successful medical examination, trained with the first team for two weeks, and was then officially introduced as a new player. Vladyslav took on the role of the team’s fourth goalkeeper and will compete with experienced keepers — Paulo Gazzaniga, Juan Carlos, and Pau López.

Vladyslav himself emphasized that his goal is to make his La Liga debut and achieve success both in Spanish football and European competitions. He highly praised the club’s atmosphere:

Another Ukrainian, Viktor Tsygankov, who is already playing successfully for Girona, helps Krapyvtsov adapt to his new environment.
Before moving to Girona, Vladyslav Krapyvtsov had already made his mark as one of Ukraine’s most promising young goalkeepers. He represented Ukraine’s U-19 squad at the 2024 Youth Euro, where he reached the semifinals and became a true hero of the tournament.
At the Euros, Vladyslav played seven matches and kept two clean sheets. His confident play and ability to handle pressure earned him a spot in the tournament’s symbolic Best XI, a significant achievement for a young goalkeeper.
In the 2023/2024 season, Vladyslav played 25 matches for SK Dnipro-1’s U-19 team, repeatedly saving the team in challenging moments and demonstrating outstanding reflexes and goal-line skills.
Regarding his prospects for the Ukrainian national team, in 2024–2025, Krapyvtsov is already part of the U-21 national team setup.
