Girona has officially confirmed that Ukrainian goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapyvtsov will stay with the team. The 20-year-old Ukrainian will compete for a spot in the lineup in the upcoming La Liga season. The young keeper is successfully completing the summer training camp under coach Michel. During sessions, Krapyvtsov wears Brave GK Reaction Green gloves.
Vladyslav Krapyvtsov was born in June 2005 in Kharkiv. He began his goalkeeper training in the local Metalist academy, then moved to SC Dnipro, where he quickly stood out for his technique, excellent ball control, and footwork. Those qualities caught the attention of European scouts: in 2024 he signed with Girona until summer 2029.
In his first months in Spain, Krapyvtsov got chances to impress. He featured for the first team in friendlies against Atlético and Real Sociedad, conceding seven goals overall. Yet the scoreline mattered less than his performance level, character, and attitude on the pitch.
