Ukraine U21 national team is holding a short but intensive training camp in Spain. Ahead are two March Euro 2027 qualifying matches: against Lithuania and Hungary. Head coach Unai Melgosa says the team is preparing as planned, polishing the details, working on its game model, and must show confident performances in these matches.

Ukraine U21 national team camp began on March 22. The team is preparing for two Euro 2027 qualifying matches. In an interview, coach Unai Melgosa said that even before the camp the staff had deeply analyzed their own game model, closely monitored the players’ form, and paid attention to studying the opponents. During the camp itself, the team’s task is to fine-tune the details and deliver confident performances in both matches.
Three goalkeepers were called up to this Ukraine U21 national team camp: Vladyslav Krapyvtsov from Girona, Ivan Pakholiuk from Kolos, and Viktor Dolhyi from Oleksandriya. For the goalkeepers, this camp includes intensive sets with different types of workload. There are save drills, hand work, quick repetitions, game sequences, internal matches, and overall physical training, including gym work. In this mode, gloves must perform well both in technical drills and in a more dynamic game tempo, where grip, control, wrist freedom, and stability on the hand from one set to the next are important.
For Vladyslav Krapyvtsov, one of the key tasks at this camp is to go through different training modes calmly without needing extra adaptation to his equipment. On a single day, a goalkeeper may have save drills, game sequences, an internal match, and exercises after physical load. In such conditions, what matters most is not bulkiness or stiffness, but lightness, predictable contact with the ball, and wrist freedom.
That is why Brave GK Air Aqua goalkeeper gloves look like a logical choice here. The palm made of 4 mm Supreme Contact latex and 4 mm cushioning foam helps receive the ball confidently and soften the impact. The Rollfinger cut increases the contact area, while the Fix Fit system keeps the hand in a stable position inside the glove. At the same time, the breathable mesh on the backhand makes the model lighter and helps prevent the hand from overheating during a long session.
For Krapyvtsov, this matters not only in one specific drill. Brave GK Air Aqua gloves do not restrict movement, allow quick transitions from a save to the next action, and maintain control in different types of exercises. That is exactly why this model suits goalkeeper work where technique, game situations, and a high volume of repeated workload are all combined within a single training session.

At a camp like this, it is important for a goalkeeper to maintain the quality of work throughout the entire training session. For Ivan Pakholiuk, this means a varied rhythm within one session: from a series of saves and hand work to internal matches and exercises after physical load. In this mode, the gloves must fit tightly on the hand, not shift, and provide equally clear contact with the ball from repetition to repetition.
Brave GK Diamond Pink goalkeeper gloves meet these demands perfectly. The palm made of 4 mm Supreme Contact latex and 4 mm foam backing helps secure the ball confidently after a shot, while the Rollfinger cut without seams between the fingers increases the contact area. Latex on the thumb adds control, and the Fix Fit system prevents the hand from slipping inside the glove. For Pakholiuk, this is especially important during long and intense work, where the feel of the ball cannot be lost after several sets in a row.
A separate advantage of this model is its snug fit without excessive pressure. The anatomical shape follows the contour of the hand, the elastic cuff securely stabilizes the wrist, and the latex strap allows the fit to be adjusted precisely. At the same time, there are no rigid inserts in the construction, so the wrist moves freely and does not lose its natural mobility in moments when the goalkeeper needs to punch the ball quickly, receive it, or sharply change direction.
This Ukraine U21 national team camp is tied to two specific matches. Preparation began on March 22, the team will play Lithuania on March 27, and on March 31 at 17:30 they will have an away Euro 2027 qualifying match against Hungary U21.
Goalkeeper training here is taking place in a packed schedule. The task is not simply to maintain form, but to approach two different matches in good working condition. For Vladyslav Krapyvtsov and Ivan Pakholiuk, this is a chance to prove themselves at the Ukraine U21 national team level.
