The Ukrainian national football team has been in the Czech Republic since last week, preparing for important matches of the Nations League 2024/2025. The team, led by Serhii Rebrov, has already played their first match against Albania but, unfortunately, suffered a 1:2 defeat. Despite the setback, the team continues to work hard in preparation for upcoming games, focusing on new challenges and learning from their mistakes.

Ukraine’s national team goalkeeper Heorhii Bushchan is actively preparing for the matches, training with the team in the Czech Republic. During the preparation, he focuses on various aspects of the game: Bushchan pays particular attention to saves, interceptions, footwork, and coordination with the defenders. The goalkeeper is also working hard to improve his tactical understanding of the game, aiming to help the team as effectively as possible in both defense and attack. The training sessions are intensive, allowing Bushchan to maintain a high level of readiness for each match.
Bushchan trains in the Czech Republic with Brave GK Fury Pro gloves: this model ensures comfort and control in all conditions. The gloves offer excellent grip on the ball thanks to 4 mm Supreme Contact latex. Additional comfort is provided by the 4 mm foam lining. The Rollfinger cut ensures a snug fit, while the Fix Fit system with internal silicone inserts securely holds the hand.
The backhand is made of a combination of two types of latex in natural colors, with integrated 3D elements reinforcing the punch zone for protection. The thumb is wrapped in latex on both sides for extra protection. The gloves feature a stylish color scheme with a mix of white, black, and blue, emphasizing flexibility and sensitivity thanks to the absence of protective inserts.
Ukraine's first match in the Nations League 2024/2025 took place in Prague against Albania. From the very start, the Ukrainians took the initiative, pressing their opponent. Despite the intense pressure, Ukraine was unable to break through Albania's defense in the first half. Nevertheless, in the 49th minute, Konoplia scored, but Albania quickly equalized and then took the lead. Despite Ukraine's attempts to regain control of the match, they couldn't save the game.

After the match against Albania, Ukraine’s national team continues their preparation in Prague. The next match will take place against the Czech Republic on September 10th at Eden Arena. This game will be an important step for the team, as a victory will restore confidence and earn points in the Nations League group stage. The coaching staff is actively preparing the team for this challenge, focusing on improving coordination and correcting mistakes.
Ukraine's head coach Serhii Rebrov emphasized in an interview that the Nations League is not just a tournament but a crucial opportunity for the national team to qualify for the World Cup. He noted that every match for the national team is a serious challenge, and every player must understand their responsibility to the fans and the country.
"We analyze our opponents carefully and prepare for each game with maximum responsibility. Our goal is to show our best football and prove that we can compete at the highest level," said Rebrov.
The coach highlighted that all group opponents are strong teams that showed their quality at the last Euros. Albania, the Czech Republic, and Georgia are serious competitors, and Ukraine must approach each match with maximum concentration. Rebrov also noted that despite the short recovery time between matches and player fatigue, the team is determined to fight until the end.
