The Ukrainian national team, under the leadership of Serhiy Rebrov, recently played two more Nations League matches. Unlike the previous two games, where they conceded a total of 5 goals, this time our team allowed only 1 goal. This clearly demonstrates the strengthening of the national team’s defense, thanks to the excellent preparation under the guidance of goalkeeping coach Rustam Khudzhamov.
The team secured an important victory over Georgia, keeping a clean sheet, and played a tough match against the Czech Republic, which ended in a hard-fought draw. In both games, Anatoliy Trubin played: the “Benfica” goalkeeper showcased a high level of readiness, blocking difficult shots and withstanding dangerous attacks.
Ahead, Ukraine faces two crucial matches in November: the team will continue the fight to advance from Group B1 of the Nations League and try to qualify for the World Cup. Rustam Khudzhamov, the Ukrainian national team's goalkeeping coach, continues to prepare Anatoliy Trubin and Heorhiy Bushchan, focusing on reaction, agility, and tactical discipline. In every training session before the important Nations League matches, Rustam Khudzhamov trains wearing Brave GK Venom 2024 gloves — an exclusive model created to celebrate Ukraine’s qualification for the European Championship.

In November 2024, the Ukrainian national team will play two key Nations League matches that may determine their continued participation in the tournament.
The first match will take place on November 16 in Tbilisi against the Georgian national team. This game will be decisive for both teams, as they both aim to secure a top spot in Group B1, although our team currently sits at the bottom of the table.
The second match will be on November 19, when Ukraine will face Albania. This will be the final group stage game for Ukraine, which will also impact their chances of advancing to the tournament's top division.
Both matches are critical for Ukraine, and any of the opponent teams could prove to be tough competition, given the current standings.
As for the goalkeepers, the coaching staff of the Ukrainian national team has flexibility in choosing players, although it's more limited than before: Andriy Lunin was withdrawn from the squad after catching a virus, and a few days ago, Dmytro Riznyk sustained an injury. This leaves only Trubin and Bushchan at Rebrov and Khudzhamov’s disposal. This means that either of the two goalkeepers could take the field, and both must be 100% ready to help the team succeed.

Rustam Khudzhamov, one of Ukraine’s top goalkeepers in the past, continues to develop his training methods while working with Trubin and Bushchan. Every training day starts with an intense warm-up, including ball work to improve coordination and reflexes. One unique aspect of the training sessions is the use of special reaction balls that bounce unpredictably.
On the field, Khudzhamov focuses on set-piece scenarios: practicing crosses, corners, and penalties. He constantly emphasizes that confidence in coming off the line and precise handling of the ball in the air are key to successful goalkeeping. One of the most important aspects is training under pressure. Khudzhamov creates high-pressure situations, simulating intense matches to prepare his goalkeepers for any surprises on the field.
In the photo, you can see Khudzhamov in the middle of a training session: passing balls to the goalkeepers from different angles, practicing coordination and leaving the penalty area. His sessions include working with teammates, improving interaction with defenders, and managing the game under high pressing conditions.
In every training session before important Nations League matches, Rustam Khudzhamov wears Brave GK Venom 2024 gloves — an exclusive model created to celebrate Ukraine’s qualification for the European Championship. These gloves are equipped with 4mm SUPREME latex and a 4mm foam lining for maximum shock absorption, providing a high level of comfort and protection. The Roll Hybrid cut ensures a snug fit to the fingers, allowing for better ball control.
The backhand of the gloves is made of neoprene, which softens impact and maintains flexibility even during intense training. A unique feature of the model is the removable strap for individual adjustment, allowing each goalkeeper to customize the gloves to their needs. The bright design with blue and yellow geometric elements symbolizes the victories of the Ukrainian national team and inspires new achievements.
