Pavel Isenko, one of Ukraine’s most promising goalkeepers and a Brave GK ambassador, has begun a new phase of his career in the Romanian championship. In the summer of 2025, he signed with Universitatea Craiova, which competes in the country’s top division—the Romanian Superliga. This move gives Isenko the opportunity to make a name for himself on the international stage.
For the new season, Pavel is training in our signature kit—specifically, the Brave GK Reaction Green gloves. It was in this model that he played his most important matches for Vorskla and Ukraine’s U‑21 national team. Today, these gloves help him adapt to the new workload and preparation conditions in Romania.
The modern Universitatea Craiova was officially founded in 2013, but the club positions itself as the successor to the historical namesake team established in 1948. In their favor are court rulings, support from the football league, and, most importantly, a rich sporting heritage: 4 championship titles, 8 Romanian Cups, and 1 Romanian Supercup. Their home ground, the Ion Oblemenco Stadium, holds over 30,000 spectators, and the team is one of the main contenders for European qualification spots.
Last season, Universitatea finished in an honorable third place, trailing the champion Steaua by just 12 points. The new season kicked off on July 12 with a match against UTA Arad, which ended in a hard‑fought 3–3 draw. Ukrainian players already made their mark—Oleksandr Romanchuk scored, and Dmytro Pospelov netted a comeback goal for the opposition. Isenko himself is still building form and awaiting his chance in the starting lineup.
In the new season, Pavel Isenko remains loyal to the trusted Brave GK Reaction Green model. These gloves have been his reliable tool both in UPL matches and in international fixtures, including appearances for Ukraine’s U‑21 team.
The main advantage of Brave GK Reaction Green is its 4 mm Supreme Contact latex palm, reinforced with an equally thick foam backing. This combination provides an ideal grip even in challenging weather—rain or high humidity, which is relevant for matches in Romania. The Rollfinger cut increases the contact area with the ball, helping control even the most powerful shots.
The Fix Fit system—internal silicone elements—stabilizes the fit and prevents glove slippage during abrupt movements. This is especially important for goal kicks and catching shots after ricochets. The backhand is crafted from thermoregulating NB latex: it wicks away excess heat, shields against wind, and maintains comfort in changeable conditions. An elastic cuff and anatomical cut ensure a snug yet unrestricted fit.

Isenko’s transfer to Universitatea symbolically marked the end of an era. He spent almost his entire career at Vorskla: debuting at 17, playing 85 first‑team matches, and keeping 26 clean sheets. Yet his story began even earlier—growing up in Vorskla’s system from childhood, developing, learning, and maturing as a person.
The official farewell took place in July 2025. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Pavel thanked the club, coaches, fans, and everyone who supported his growth:
“I arrived here as a child, but with every year I developed and grew stronger—both as a player and as a person. It has been an unforgettable journey, and I am very grateful to have shared it with you. Vorskla will always be in my heart.”
He left as a free agent, and Vorskla received compensation for his development. This move is a natural continuation of the progression of a young goalkeeper who already has European experience and standout performances—at 16, he saved three penalties in the Ukrainian Cup semifinal and became a genuine sensation.
The move to Universitatea Craiova is not just a league change for Pavel Isenko: it is a transfer to one of the country’s most influential and decorated clubs. Last season they finished third, 12 points behind champions Steaua. That ambition and stability make the club an ideal platform for high‑potential young players. The goalkeeper role at Universitatea traditionally demands reliability, confidence, and rapid adaptation to the Superliga’s intense pace.
Pavel is already training with Universitatea and has every chance to secure the starting spot. Given his physical readiness, top‑level experience, and deep tactical understanding, he is poised not only to compete for the number one jersey but to become a key team figure.
