Ognen Čančarević is an experienced goalkeeper of the Armenian national team and the "Noah" club, competing at an international level. In 2023, he debuted for the national team, and in 2024, he had a strong season in the Armenian championship and the Conference League. In the 3rd round of the Conference League qualification match against the Greek AEK (3:1), Čančarević scored an unforgettable goal from his own penalty area. Ognen Čančarević has been playing at a high level for many years and delivering excellent performances both in national championships and international competitions.
In the 2024 season, Ognen was one of the key players of "Noah" in the Armenian championship and European tournaments. In the Conference League qualification match against Greek AEK, he scored a unique goal – a shot from his own goal. It became one of the most remarkable moments of the tournament.
Additionally, this season, Čančarević has shown exceptional resilience. In one of the games, he suffered a collarbone fracture but continued playing with one arm. This moment demonstrated his character and dedication on the field. "Noah" confidently holds 1st place in the Armenian championship, maintaining a solid lead over its closest rivals.
Ognen Čančarević was born in Serbia, where he started his career. However, after playing in Armenian football for several years, he obtained Armenian citizenship in 2023.
In June 2023, he debuted for the national team in a match against Wales, where Armenia secured an impressive 4:2 victory. Since then, Čančarević has become one of the key goalkeepers of the national team.
Earlier in his career, he was also called up to the Serbian national team but never appeared on the field.
Čančarević began his professional career in Serbia, playing for "Sloboda Užice," "Zlatibor Užice," and other clubs. In 2009, he joined "Radnički," with whom he won the Serbian First League after two seasons and was promoted to the Super League.
In 2018, he moved to Armenia and signed a contract with "Alashkert." With this club, he won the Armenian championship twice (2017/18, 2020/21), the Armenian Cup (2018/19), and the Super Cup (2021).
In January 2024, Čančarević transferred to "Noah," where he continues to perform at a high level.
In the 2024/2025 season, Ognen Čančarević plays with professional Brave GK Fury White Black goalkeeper gloves. This model provides maximum ball control, comfort, and safety under all conditions.
