We are proud to announce that 17-year-old Lithuanian goalkeeper Arnas Vojtinovicius has become the new ambassador of the Brave GK brand. This talented goalkeeper recently signed a contract with Lisbon's Benfica and is preparing for the 2024/2025 Primeira Liga season with the club's first team. In addition, Arnas continues to successfully represent Lithuania's U19 national team, participating in the qualifying matches for the European Championship.
Arnas Vojtinovicius was born on August 30, 2006, in Lithuania. He began his football journey at FC Riteriai, a club in Lithuania's top football league. Despite his young age, he played five matches for Riteriai's first team, showing confidence and maturity on the field. In early 2024, Arnas took an important step in his career by signing a contract with one of Europe's largest clubs, Lisbon's Benfica.
In an interview with Benfica's club TV, Arnas spoke about his ambitions and dreams: "I have always aimed to become the best version of myself to achieve the highest goals, and Benfica is the perfect place to realize my dreams. Preparation for the 2024/2025 Season: Training with Benfica's First Team
In July 2024, Arnas joined Benfica's first team to prepare for the 2024/2025 season. Training with the first team, rather than the youth squad, indicates a high level of trust from the coaches. During preseason, Arnas trained alongside experienced goalkeepers like André Gomes and Samuel Soares.
As part of the preparation, the team played a series of friendly matches. Arnas participated in games against opponents such as Farense (representative of Portugal's Segunda Liga), Celta Vigo (La Liga club from Spain's top division), Brentford (Premier League team from England), Feyenoord (leader of the Dutch Eredivisie), and Fulham (another Premier League team from England). These matches were an important experience for the young goalkeeper, helping him adapt more quickly to the new conditions.
In addition to his club achievements, Arnas actively represents Lithuania's U19 national team. He participates in the qualifying matches for the European Championship, where he consistently displays solid and confident performances.
