19-year-old goalkeeper Arnas Voitinovičius played for the Lithuania U21 national team in the Euro U21 qualifying match against Ukraine. For Lithuania itself, this match was important: Andrius Skerla’s team drew 1:1 and earned its second point in the current qualifying cycle. For Voitinovičius, it was also a match at a good international level, where he needed to show a confident performance throughout the entire game.
Arnas Voitinovičius came out for the match against Ukraine wearing Brave GK Unique NG gloves. Below, we take a closer look at how the match went from Lithuania’s point of view, what is important to know about Voitinovičius himself, and why the Brave GK Unique NG model is suitable for playing at this level.

For the Lithuania U21 national team, this match was important not only because of the standings, but also because of the overall context. It was Andrius Skerla’s first game in charge of the U21 team, and his debut turned out to be successful in terms of the result. Lithuania drew 1:1 with Ukraine and earned its second point in qualifying. The match was played on neutral ground in Košice and developed quite calmly before the break: Ukraine had more possession, but did not have a clear advantage.
After the break, Ukraine did open the scoring in the 61st minute, but Lithuania did not fall apart and equalized nine minutes later. After a long-range shot by Ernestas Gudelevičius and a follow-up finish by Faustas Steponavičius, the score became 1:1. For Lithuania, this can be considered a good result given the status of the opponent and the team’s position in the group.
For Arnas Voitinovičius, this was a match in which it was important to stay focused and not drop out of the game in moments when the opponent controlled the ball for longer spells. A scenario like this demands calmness from a goalkeeper, correct positioning, and readiness to step in at the right moment. It is exactly in matches like these that you can clearly see how composed a goalkeeper is and how confident he feels with his chosen glove model.

Voitinovičius is not only the goalkeeper of the Lithuania U21 national team, but also one of the country’s most notable young goalkeepers. At 19, he already plays for Benfica B, recently extended his contract with the Lisbon club, and is gradually gaining experience in a more mature and demanding level of football. Before moving to Portugal, Voitinovičius made his debut in Lithuania’s A Lyga at just 16, and now combines club development with matches for the youth national team.
For the match against Ukraine U21, he wore Brave GK Unique NG goalkeeper gloves. This model is designed for dense match work, where grip, secure handling, and precision in contact with the ball are important. The palm made of 4 mm German Premium Supreme latex and 4 mm foam backing provides grip and cushioning, while the Negative Roll cut helps the glove fit tighter and transmit the feel of the ball more precisely. For a goalkeeper playing at the level of the youth national team and Benfica’s second team, this is crucial. In an official match, any noticeable movement of the hand inside the glove or any unclear contact with the ball can lead to a conceded goal.
Another important point in Brave GK Unique NG is the overall compactness of the construction. The perforated textile on the backhand makes the model feel lighter, the latex-reinforced zone helps in punching situations, and the silicone elements add control in tough game episodes. The latex strap with Velcro securely fixes the wrist, so the glove remains stable in movement.
For the Lithuania U21 national team, the match against Ukraine was the only one this month. The 1:1 draw became an important point in the current qualifying cycle.
In the autumn, Lithuania U21 will have two more qualifying matches ahead — against Hungary and Croatia. If Voitinovičius maintains his current status and form, it is quite likely that he will once again be in the starting lineup.
