Brave GK ambassador, 19-year-old goalkeeper Jakub Surovcik, continues to hone his skills as part of the Prague football club Sparta. Last week, the youth team (Sparta Prague B) went to England to face the local club Wolverhampton (U21) on November 24th in the prestigious Premier League International Cup tournament. Despite a very strong opponent and the difficulties of autumn weather, Surovcik played very professionally, showing impressive progress in shot-stopping, organizing defense, and handwork.
For the Friday football evening in England, Jakub Surovcik chose professional Brave GK Venom goalkeeper gloves. On Sunday, November 12, Sparta Prague B finished the autumn part of the Czech Republic's second strongest division with a victory over Tabor. However, the match program for the second team continues in the current calendar year. Under the guidance of Tim Sparv, the Spartans were to showcase their skills at the prestigious international tournament Premier League International Cup, where Wolverhampton was the first opponent.
The "Spartans" approached the match full of confidence in their strength, as they had reached the quarterfinals of the tournament last season, only losing to Fulham. As for the "Wolves," they finished last in their group last year without scoring a point. However, this season they already have a win over last year's champions, the youth team of PSV Eindhoven.

From the first minutes of the first half, Sparta Prague controlled the ball, although they did not pose a serious threat, and although Lilling managed to break into the penalty area, his shot was stopped by Young. Matty Whittingham doubled the advantage for the hosts in the 85th minute, but a late goal from Shanalek of Sparta Prague was a powerful response and created tension in the last minutes of the match. However, the guests could not catch up with the hosts, and the match ended with a minimal victory for Wolverhampton, 2:1.
