Goalkeeper Jakub Surovčík debuts for Sparta Prague B in Brave GK Diamond white gloves

21-year-old goalkeeper Jakub Surovčík is gaining momentum in his new team, Sparta Prague. In July, the young ambassador for Brave GK attended the A-team camp in Austria, where, besides training, the players played three friendly matches against teams from Croatia, Serbia, and Belgium over 10 days. A month later, in early August, Surovčík played his debut match for Sparta Prague, specifically for the second team "Sparta Prague B" or "Sparta Prague U-21". It was an away game against the Czech club Prostějov as part of the third round of the 2023/24 season in the second-tier Czech football division. The match score 3:3 reflects the dynamic atmosphere of the encounter, full of combat, attacks, and dangerous moments.

Review of Jakub Surovčík's Debut Match for Sparta Prague B

Prostějov - Sparta Prague B, 3:3

Sparta's opponent was the Czech football club from the Moravian city of Prostějov. Like Sparta Prague B, they play in the Football National League, the second-tier football division in the Czech Republic. The match took place at Prostějov's home stadium.

From the beginning of the match, Sparta set the tempo and style of play. The visitors took the lead in the 3rd minute after an unfortunate strike by the goalkeeper: Sparta's player Kaštánek impressed his fans with well-coordinated actions. Moments later, the situation for the Spartans became even brighter when Šánelec made it 0:2 following another rough play in the Czech defense. At that point, things weren't looking good for the hosts. Sparta was better, more agile, and dominated ball possession. However, Prostějov managed to score before halftime: Malec successfully found a pass to Bartolomeo and, with a relentless header, gave the home team hope of winning points.

In the second half, the hosts' attempt to equalize was evident, but it was Sparta who again took a two-goal lead when substitute Mokrovič beautifully scored. However, this did not deter Prostějov, and almost immediately Malec, for the second time, broke through Sparta's defense. After some time, a tall Prostějov defender managed to push the ball past an aggressively advancing Surovčík to level the score - 3:3.
