Czech Ambassador of Brave GK Jakub Surovchik moves to Sparta Prague

The professional football equipment brand, Brave GK, continues its European development vector and expands its international network of contract footballers. One of the youngest yet promising goalkeepers is Slovak goalkeeper Jakub Surovchik, who plays in the Czech Republic.

Just recently, Surovchik is moving from the Czech team Jablonec to Sparta Prague (Czech: AC Sparta Praha) – a professional Czech football club from Prague, which is the most successful team in the Czech Republic and all of Central Europe. Jakob Surovchik's transfer is likely arranged to strengthen the team as part of Sparta's preparation for the Champions League.

In addition, Surovchik is the goalkeeper of the Slovak U-21 national team. We are confident that with due persistence, 20-year-old Jakub has every chance to make it to the main Slovak national team.

Jakob Surovchik performs in Brave GK Reaction and Diamond White goalkeeper gloves made of elite German latex, characterized by technologically impeccable and meticulously designed construction. Learn more about Jakub Surovchik and his favorite Brave GK models below.

The transfer of Brave GK ambassador Jakub Surovchik to Sparta Prague

Surovchik has spent the last 2 years in the north of the Czech Republic, defending the goal of the Jablonec club (Czech: Fotbalový klub Jablonec). This is a professional football club from the city of Jablonec-nad-Nisou, playing in the top league of the country. Since its foundation in 1945, it has twice won the Czech Cup and once became the silver medalist of the Czech Championship (in 2010).

At Jablonec, Jakub Surovchik made his first steps in football at the highest level, winning the First Czech Football League (the top league of the Czech football championship) and making it to the recently formed Slovak U-21 national team.

Now Jakub Surovchik is planning to take the next step in his career and move to the championship team "Sparta". This is also a top Czech football club. Founded in Prague in 1892. It is the most successful team in the Czech Republic and all of Central Europe. 21 times "Sparta" has become the champion of Czechoslovakia, 13 times - the champion of the Czech Republic. For a long time, the team was a farm club for the Czech national football team, that is, essentially the basis for the national team.

The team's most famous success was the Champions League semi-final in 1992. Then, Kiev's "Dynamo" was also included in the "Sparta" group, which the Czechs defeated on their field 2:1, but lost away 0:1.

Speaking of the latest achievements, Sparta Prague won the Czech Championship for 2022/2023. In the penultimate, 34th round of the Czech top league, the team drew with Slovacko (0:0), after which the gap from the following Slavia in the league table was three points. In the playoff match, the Prague club beat Slavia with a score of 3:2. Sparta last secured the championship in 2014.

In the next season, Sparta will compete in the Champions League qualification. Surely Jakub Surovchik is seen by the management of the Czech club as a reinforcement before important matches.

Interestingly, Czech clubs Jablonec and Sparta are long-standing rivals, their confrontation is similar to the familiar opposition between Dynamo and Shakhtar. So it can be said that Surovchik's transfer is somewhat scandalous to some extent.

  • Latex: 4 mm Supreme Contact + 4 mm foam lining.
  • Finger cut: Rollfinger.
  • Fix Fit System: Silicone elements inside the palm, improving ball control.
  • Backhand: 4 mm NB latex + 4 mm lining with high thermoregulation characteristics.
