Brave GK company is embarking on a new venture — producing goalkeeper gear for professional football clubs. We are pleased to announce that our first partner in this venture is the world-renowned Benfica club from Lisbon, the current champion of Portugal and one of the best teams according to FIFA.
We have signed a contract for the production of goalkeeper gloves that encompasses the creation of both professional and children's models. In the near future, Benfica gloves made by Brave GK will be available for purchase on Benfica's official website, in the club's official showrooms across Europe, and, of course, on the Brave GK international online store.

Our company takes on the role of a manufacturer and supplier of gloves for the entire Benfica team. This means that both professional and children's models will be available for purchase. The gloves feature the original design of the Portuguese club, reflecting its longstanding football traditions and timeless style. Details such as the Benfica emblem with an eagle refer to the club's history, a legacy left by previous generations.
The gloves for Benfica Club are flawless from a technical standpoint. They are designed for maximum comfort, grip, and injury prevention. They are safe, reliable, and have a meticulously designed structure, eliminating any distractions. Soft padding absorbs shocks and ensures protection. German latex foam wraps around the fingers, ensuring a reliable ball grip. In addition, adjustable wrist straps and elastic material allow the goalkeeper's hands to move freely. Silicone inserts help grip the ball securely, while flexible cuffs provide fixation. Each glove ensures excellent control in both dry and wet weather.
All these qualities are inherent in both professional and children's models.
Without a doubt, the Benfica emblem is the club's main visual symbol. Like most of their traditions, the emblem was created in the early 20th century. Over time, it underwent some stylistic changes, but by 1930 it had more or less the final look we know today.
The Benfica emblem has a distinctly symbolic composition, namely:
Let's recall that throughout the existence of Portuguese football, Benfica has been one of the country's strongest clubs and a grandee of the local championship. The club was founded on February 28, 1904, by amateur footballers and students of the Real Casa Pia de Lisboa college. Initially, the club was called "Sporting Society of Lisbon", but in 1908 it merged with "Sporting Society of Benfica". The new club combined the emblems and colors of each of the two sports societies.
In 1933, the club became one of the founders of the tournament among professional football clubs in Portugal, along with Sporting and Porto. Benfica has never left the top division, and they won their first cup in 1936. Currently, Benfica has 37 championship titles. The "Eagles" rank 12th in FIFA's "Club of the Century" ranking and 9th in IFFHS's list of the top 200 European clubs of the 20th century. In UEFA, Benfica holds the 8th position in the absolute club ranking and 17th place in the club coefficient rankings for the 2022–23 season.
