Brave GK Ambassador Sarnavsky becomes a player for Polish club Lechia

Earlier this summer, Bogdan Sarnavsky's contract with Krivbass from Kryvyi Rih ended, and the 28-year-old goalkeeper decided not to renew it. Just a month later, at the end of July, it was revealed that Sarnavsky, as a free agent, transferred to the Polish club Lechia from Gdansk.

It's worth noting that in Ukraine, Bogdan Sarnavsky was considered one of the most promising footballers. Specifically, Sarnavsky ranks 7th in the Top-10 goalkeepers by the number of penalties saved in the history of the UPL. In Krivbass, Bogdan played a total of 2 years (1 year under contract, 1 year on loan from Dnipro-1). At the end of the last season, Krivbass took 7th place in the Premier League, and Sarnavsky himself played 17 matches, conceded 23 goals, and kept 5 clean sheets. In the first half of the 2022/2023 season, Bogdan was named the best player of his team.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper is a loyal friend and ambassador of the Brave GK brand. Throughout his career, Bogdan played and trained wearing various gloves from the brand, and currently prefers the Brave GK Reaction model.

The Reaction glove by Brave GK is a new development based on the legendary Phantome model. It features a modern design with 3D elements and a unique thumb structure. The foundation of the gloves is high-quality German latex. For the thumb, they used fabric partly covered with a flexible mesh for better hand flexion and wrist strain protection. On the back of the gloves and fingers, there are unique 3D elements in a contemporary style. A slit is placed between the Backhand and the latex fastening, so the goalkeeper can comfortably flex the wrist and work effectively with their hands.

Sarnavsky's career in Ukraine and move to Poland

According to the goalkeeper himself, he had a strong desire to renew his contract with Krivbass, but various nuances interfered. The negotiations eventually came to a standstill, and Sarnavsky started considering other offers. In early June, along with several other experienced players, Bogdan left Krivbass.

Before Krivbass, Sarnavsky played for Vorskla, Lviv, Veres, Dnipro-1, and foreign clubs - for Hapoel Tel Aviv and FC Ufa. In his early youth, Bogdan notably stood out among other players and was invited to the Donetsk Shakhtar – unfortunately, he didn't make it to the first team.

Sarnavsky's new club, Polish Lechia, is a professional team from Gdansk. Last season, Lechia played in Poland's top division (Ekstraklasa) but, finishing second to last, were relegated to the country's second division. The new season for Lechia started with a confident victory over the team Hrobry Glogow (4:2). Interestingly, in the summer of 2023, another former Krivbass player, Rifet Kapic from Bosnia, transferred to Lechia.
