In August, Sarnavsky played his first "clean sheet" match — it was a game against the Znicz from Pruszków team, which Lechia finished with a 1:0 victory. The 28-year-old Sarnavsky did not let in any goals in this match, even though it was tense and dynamic, with many shots at both goals.
Currently, Lechia Gdańsk is in 8th place in the Polish First League table after 9 matches. It's a fairly good result, but the team has all the opportunities and potential to climb much higher. The new team of Bohdan Sarnavsky will face teams like Nęczęca, Górnik Łęczna, Polonia, and Stal.
Notably, while still playing for Krivbass in the UPL in the 2023/24 season, the Ukrainian goalkeeper saved 2 penalties out of 3, becoming the best goalkeeper of the championship in penalty saves. Throughout his career, Bohdan has saved 10 penalties out of 21.
